Video Editor & Motion Graphics Specialist

About the role

Base, a boutique branding and content agency in Beirut, is seeking a full‑time Video Editor with a strong motion‑graphics sensibility. The role will support multiple client accounts, turning raw footage into engaging short‑form and long‑form videos for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and digital campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Edit reels, social‑media videos and campaign assets, ensuring each piece reflects the brand’s tone and visual identity.
• Apply pacing, cuts, transitions, sound design, subtitles and motion elements to create platform‑optimized content.
• Collaborate with content producers, videographers and strategists to understand shoot intentions and provide editing input.
• Organise and manage raw footage, maintain version control and meet project deadlines.
• Stay current with social‑media trends and suggest creative enhancements to boost engagement.

Required profile

• Passion for storytelling and visual rhythm, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work on several projects simultaneously while respecting tight timelines.
• Strong communication skills to incorporate feedback from account managers and creative teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in video‑editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion‑graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
• Understanding of social‑media platform specifications and best‑practice formats.
• Basic sound‑design and music‑integration capabilities.
