Treasury Accountant – Lebanon

About the role

The Treasury Accountant will provide full treasury and cash‑management coverage for the Lebanon entity, ensuring secure, accurate and timely bank operations, payments, cash forecasting, reconciliations and liquidity reporting. This position reports to Finance leadership and works closely with the local accounting team to meet statutory and Group reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily treasury operations, including cash positioning, bank transactions, reconciliations and payment execution support.
• Maintain accurate bank books and perform daily/weekly bank reconciliations, investigating and clearing differences.
• Prepare daily cash position and short‑term cash‑flow forecasts, highlighting funding or liquidity risks.
• Coordinate payment batches with Accounts Payable, ensuring compliance with approval limits, bank mandates and segregation‑of‑duties.
• Monitor bank balances, transfers, deposits, withdrawals, charges and other treasury transactions.
• Manage bank documentation, online banking administration and relationships with banks.
• Record and reconcile foreign‑currency transactions, support month‑end FX revaluation and analyse realised/unrealised FX impacts.
• Support intercompany funding, settlements and cash transfers, ensuring proper documentation.
• Maintain treasury schedules, cash reports, bank confirmations and audit support files.
• Ensure all treasury activities comply with Group policies, local banking regulations and internal controls.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in treasury or cash‑management functions.
• Strong knowledge of local statutory banking requirements and Group reporting standards.
• Familiarity with IFRS accounting policies as applied to treasury activities.
• Ability to work under tight month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close deadlines.
