Treasurer – Treasury Operations

About the role

The Treasurer will lead daily treasury activities for a highly regulated market in Lebanon, ensuring accurate cash positioning, payment execution, and compliance with local banking regulations. This role works closely with multiple internal units and external banks to maintain liquidity and support the company’s financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Control daily integration of bank statements, prepare cash positions, and execute payments for local and foreign suppliers across multiple banks.
• Handle currency exchange transactions and issue customs payments based on affiliate needs.
• Manage bank relationships, negotiate conditions, and oversee credit facility applications.
• Supervise SAP postings, reconcile collections, and perform monthly cash counts and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with local and Shared Service Center accounting teams to ensure accurate booking of bank‑related transactions.
• Update treasury policies in line with group guidelines and ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field; Master’s or professional certificate is a plus.
• Minimum 6 years of cash‑flow and financial‑management experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Fluent in Arabic, English and French.
• Strong knowledge of the Lebanese banking system and local financial regulations.
• Proven business acumen with hands‑on budgeting and financial‑forecasting experience.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with SAP (or similar ERP systems).
• Experience in currency exchange and treasury operations.
