Technical Support - Generator

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer specialized in diesel generators to provide on‑site assistance to our clients. The role involves troubleshooting, maintenance and ensuring optimal performance of generator sets across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generators.
• Diagnose faults, conduct repairs and coordinate spare‑part logistics.
• Travel to client sites nationwide and provide timely technical support.
• Document service reports and update maintenance records.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure high service quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Technical Superior degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (mechanical preferred).
• 2–3 years of dedicated experience with diesel generators.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Ability to work independently, travel frequently and handle hand tools.

Required skills

• Diesel generator operation and maintenance (O&M).
• Use of hand and measurement tools such as clamp meters, pliers and spanners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
