Senior MLOps Engineer

About the role

Proximie is looking for a Senior MLOps Engineer to ensure that its machine‑learning solutions run reliably at scale across hospitals worldwide. You will own the platform that moves models from development into production, guaranteeing performance, cost efficiency, and uptime in critical operating‑room environments.

Key responsibilities

• Transform models created by ML engineers into production services that meet latency, cost and reliability targets.
• Design, build, and maintain training and deployment infrastructure on AWS and SageMaker.
• Implement reproducible, configuration‑driven training pipelines and define environments as code.
• Create and manage CI/CD release pipelines to make deployments routine rather than ad‑hoc.
• Set up monitoring and alerting to detect model‑behaviour shifts in live surgical settings.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address real operational problems in healthcare.

Required profile

• Extensive production experience with machine‑learning workloads.
• Deep understanding of how ML behaves at scale and in environments where downtime is unacceptable.
• Strong judgement, precision, and ability to work on life‑changing, mission‑critical systems.
• Experience delivering reliable services in regulated or high‑availability domains.
