Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Healthcare Platform

About the role

CliniKit is seeking a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer to drive the evolution of its cloud‑based EMR and clinic management platform. You will shape both front‑end and back‑end components, ensuring a secure, scalable, and user‑friendly experience for outpatient clinics.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable applications using Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB.
• Design reliable backend services, REST APIs, and data models.
• Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces with React and Next.js.
• Review code, enforce engineering standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Improve performance, security, reliability, and scalability of the platform.
• Investigate and resolve technical and production issues.
• Collaborate closely with product, medical, and design teams.
• Enhance development processes, testing, documentation, and deployment practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Advanced knowledge of React and Next.js.
• Extensive backend experience with Node.js, Express.js, and REST API design.
• Proficiency with MongoDB and database architecture.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, security, and scalable system design.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, testing, and modern development workflows.
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in multi‑tenant SaaS platforms and mentoring developers.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills; ability to work independently.
• Healthcare technology experience (EMR, interoperability, AI) is a strong advantage.
