Senior Financial Advisor – Risk Management Workshops for MSMEs

About the role

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Lebanon is seeking a Senior Financial Advisor to design and deliver risk‑management workshops for women‑led micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This short‑term consultancy supports the Women’s Economic Empowerment project funded by the Government of Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt risk‑management training modules tailored to women‑led MSMEs.
• Facilitate online workshops and provide hands‑on guidance to participants.
• Assess the risk‑management needs of MSMEs and recommend practical solutions.
• Collaborate with project partners to ensure alignment with gender‑responsive financing objectives.
• Prepare concise reports and recommendations for the project team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial advisory and risk management for MSMEs.
• Familiarity with the Lebanese financial environment and challenges faced by women entrepreneurs.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, home‑based setting.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
