Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting Department in Beirut. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, supporting reporting, and providing insights for strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review trial balances, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and account reconciliations.
• Generate profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other management reports.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and oversee tax filings.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and group reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support statutory audit processes.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities with meaningful analysis.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable and help manage cash flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• 7‑10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Experience in the insurance industry is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, taxation, cash flow management, accrual accounting, and financial reporting.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with accounting software.
