Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the sales function for a marketing and advertising business based in Baghdad. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding the client base and ensuring high‑level service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and evaluate a sales team, set targets and provide training to improve conversion rates.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans, monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and high‑value clients, negotiate contracts and handle escalations.
• Track and report sales KPIs, manage budgets and use CRM tools to streamline pipelines and analyze performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of proven sales experience in marketing, media or agency environments, with managerial responsibility.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and communication abilities with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
