Sales Business Development Executive – Merchant Acquisition

About the role

Tekram is looking for a dynamic Sales Business Development Executive to grow its merchant network. You will be responsible for acquiring restaurants, supermarkets and other businesses onto the Tekram platform, driving revenue through new partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect restaurants, supermarkets and other potential merchants.
• Conduct field visits, presentations and sales meetings with owners and decision‑makers.
• Explain Tekram’s value proposition, features and partnership benefits.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and partnership terms.
• Close merchant contracts and ensure all required documentation is completed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships throughout the onboarding process.
• Act as the primary point of contact during acquisition and address merchant concerns.
• Hand over merchants smoothly to operations and account‑management teams.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, update CRM and prepare regular sales reports.
• Achieve and exceed acquisition and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in sales, business development, merchant acquisition or field sales.
• Experience in food delivery, e‑commerce, technology or retail is an advantage.
• Valid driving licence and personal car for field visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM systems.
