QA Engineer – Playwright Automation

About the role

EPE is building the grid of the future and needs a Senior QA Engineer with strong Playwright expertise. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, ensuring high quality and reliability of our energy‑sector software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test suites using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript or Python).
• Build modular, reusable automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and cross‑browser testing through both automation and manual methods.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to define test plans and verify requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects; verify fixes and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyze test results, provide insights to engineering teams, and continuously improve automation processes.
• Mentor team members on Playwright usage and automation best practices.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in QA automation engineering.
• Proven ability to write automated tests with Playwright.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript for Playwright scripts.
• Experience with modern QA methodologies, test design, and test management tools.
• Hands‑on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or Playwright API.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
• Passion for the energy sector and desire to impact power‑systems technology.
