Program Officer – Grants & Partnerships

About the role

The Programme Officer – Grants & Partnerships will support DRC Lebanon’s partnership and localisation agenda. Working under the Head of Programme and closely with the Grants and Partnerships Coordinator, Protection Manager, GBV/CP Specialist, MEAL team and Programme Manager, the officer will strengthen strategic partnerships with local and national organisations and lead capacity‑strengthening initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead partner capacity assessments in collaboration with technical, MEAL, finance, supply‑chain and HR teams.
• Develop and implement partner capacity‑strengthening plans based on identified needs and organisational priorities.
• Conduct technical, organisational and programme‑matic capacity assessments and gap analyses with support from specialists.
• Design capacity‑strengthening frameworks, learning pathways and monitoring tools.
• Coordinate delivery of trainings, coaching, mentoring and accompaniment initiatives for partners.
• Support partner identification, onboarding, monitoring, compliance and technical accompaniment to ensure quality programme implementation.
• Manage administrative aspects of partnerships and grants work.

Required profile

• Ability to work under the supervision of the Head of Programme.
• Experience collaborating with multi‑disciplinary teams including Grants and Partnerships, Protection, MEAL and Programme Management.
