Procurement Engineer (Civil Engineering Background)

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Engineer with a civil engineering background to manage sourcing activities for our projects. The role involves acquiring goods and services, negotiating prices, and ensuring procurement aligns with company policies and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and place orders for required goods and services.
• Ensure timely delivery, resolve delivery issues, and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Conduct market research, monitor pricing trends, and expand the supply chain network.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitor performance, and address concerns.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations and Energy Solutions departments to understand their needs and support procurement strategy development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, including at least 3 years as a Procurement Engineer or similar role in facility management or related industry.
• Technical knowledge of electro‑mechanical fields.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
