About the role

The Private Chef will design, prepare, and serve high‑quality meals for a private household, adapting menus to the family’s tastes, dietary needs, and daily schedule. The position demands culinary excellence, discretion, and the ability to maintain impeccable kitchen standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan daily and weekly menus based on preferences, nutritional requirements, and household schedule.
• Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and special meals for guests or events.
• Customize dishes to accommodate allergies, intolerances, and specific dietary restrictions.
• Source fresh, high‑quality ingredients, manage grocery shopping, and maintain inventory.
• Control food costs, minimize waste, and ensure consistent quality and presentation.
• Keep the kitchen, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and hygienic.
• Coordinate meal timing with the household’s routine and assist with private events as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding household details and personal information.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a private chef or in luxury hospitality (3‑5 years minimum).
• Strong knowledge of international cuisines and ability to create diverse dishes.
• Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and dietary‑restriction cooking.
• Highly organized, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Professional demeanor, reliable, and able to commute to the Baabdet area.
