Power Systems Engineer I

About the role

We are designing the grid of the future and need a Power Systems Engineer I to join our innovative team. You will work on advanced energy intelligence projects, supporting generation, load and storage interconnections for solar, wind and battery projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop collector system and substation one‑line diagrams, steady‑state, short‑circuit and dynamic plant models.
• Create generation interconnection applications for solar, wind and battery energy storage projects.
• Provide technical support throughout the interconnection process, from filing to commercial operation.
• Conduct electrical system design studies and deliver recommendations that meet applicable codes, standards and utility requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s a plus).
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High standards for producing quality reports and deliverables.
