Planning Engineer

About the role

This full-time, office-based position in Beirut seeks a Planning Engineer to drive project planning, production scheduling and control across construction projects. The role ensures that each project adheres to agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards while supporting the project team and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Perform production planning and monitor progress against baseline plans.
• Control project performance through cost, schedule and quality tracking.
• Analyse project requirements and resource needs to optimise sequencing.
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards for management review.
• Communicate schedule updates and issues to team members and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction sector.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and strong Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing and resource planning.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management principles.
• Fluent English communication skills.
