About the role
We are looking for a meticulous Physics Editor to join our publishing team. The role involves editing and proofreading physics textbooks, ensuring accuracy and clarity for students.
Key responsibilities
- Edit and proofread physics textbooks, correcting errors and improving language.
- Rewrite specific sections to enhance readability and pedagogical value.
- Research new scientific content and integrate it into existing material.
- Collaborate with fellow editors, graphic designers, and illustrators on project deliverables.
- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Required profile
- A degree in Physics or a closely related field.
- Proven teaching experience, preferably with experience designing or evaluating assessments.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and solve problems creatively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
