Operations Accountant

About the role

The Operations Accountant will ensure accurate recording and reporting of trade offers, spending, and accounts receivable collections. This role supports the finance team by maintaining price structures, managing supplier receivable/payable processes, and implementing budget controls.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor trade offers, spending and related accounts to guarantee correct recording of customer checks and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and coordinate supplier price structures, ensure conformity with agreed prices, and issue necessary cost adjustments, debit and credit notes.
• Maintain control over supplier receivable/payable processes, ensuring timely debits, compliance with supplier guidelines, and prompt collection to maximize cash flow.
• Reconcile receivable and payable accounts against supplier statements to verify balance accuracy.
• Implement budget controls, approve fact sheets, monitor spending within agreed budgets, and allocate supplier contributions to protect net margins.
• Process trade offers in JDE to ensure the invoicing cycle aligns with monthly pricing and offers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to accounts receivable and supplier management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with JDE (JD Edwards) ERP system.
