Mathematics Teacher

About the role

The International School of Choueifat in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join its teaching team. You will deliver the SABIS® curriculum, support student achievement, and contribute to a vibrant learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver mathematics lessons using provided lesson plans or develop plans based on SABIS® pacing charts.
• Mark exams and assessments according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss disciplinary and performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department as needed.
• Implement the SABIS® Point System to maintain a conducive classroom environment.
• Proctor examinations and ensure a well‑managed testing environment.
• Provide guidance and motivation to low‑performing students to help them improve.
• Assist with external exam preparation and revision schedules where applicable.
• Support school operations such as student supervision, traffic control, and administrative duties.
• Participate in student life events in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator.
• Attend training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS® system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 1 year teaching experience.
• Professional behavior, ethical conduct, and accountability.
• Commitment to continuous learning and delivering results.
