Laundry Manager – Hotel

About the role

The Laundry Manager oversees all laundry operations for a hotel within the Accor network, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. You will lead a team, manage supplies, and coordinate with other hotel departments to support daily and peak‑season demands.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily and long‑term laundry activities, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Develop and maintain training programs for laundry staff.
• Create and update standard operating procedures for new tasks.
• Liaise with the Executive Housekeeper to align laundry needs with hotel occupancy.
• Coordinate with the Food & Beverage Manager to guarantee adequate linen supply and presentation.
• Conduct regular quality checks on guest laundry, dry‑cleaning, and equipment.
• Prepare maintenance requisitions and monitor equipment condition.
• Maintain inventory of laundry and dry‑cleaning supplies.
• Generate operational reports for the Executive Housekeeper.
• Monitor costs, compare products, and suggest improvements.
• Schedule staff rosters based on projected occupancy.
• Process billing, paperwork, and track items sent for laundering.
• Assist in evaluating staff attendance and performance.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar laundry management role.
• Good oral proficiency in English.
• Solid understanding of hygiene standards and laundry procedures.
• Experience with Opera or a related hotel management system.
• Service‑oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.

• Opera PMS (or similar hotel system)
