Junior Transportation Engineer

About the role

We are a specialized transportation engineering consulting firm seeking a motivated Junior Transportation Engineer to join our team in Lebanon. You will support international roadway, traffic, and transportation projects while developing your expertise under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare roadway, traffic, and transportation engineering plans.
• Develop engineering drawings, details, diagrams, and technical exhibits using AutoCAD.
• Support geometric design calculations and related engineering tasks.
• Produce signing, striping, traffic signal, traffic control, and accessibility plans.
• Review engineering plans for accuracy and completeness.
• Incorporate comments and mark‑ups from senior staff.
• Coordinate with project team members and communicate issues promptly.
• Organize assignments and meet project schedule requirements.
• Apply international roadway and transportation engineering standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Either a Master’s degree/graduate coursework in transportation engineering or relevant roadway/highway experience.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely with overlapping hours with international teams.

• AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred)
