About the role
The IT Projects & Coordination Officer supports the Head of IT in managing the full lifecycle of IT requests, tickets, projects and initiatives across the bank. This role acts as the central hub ensuring that all IT activities are properly logged, prioritized, tracked and reported, facilitating smooth collaboration between internal departments, vendors and governance bodies.
Key responsibilities
- Organise, track and prioritise all IT requests, tasks, tickets and projects received from bank departments and branches.
- Ensure each request is fully documented, assigned, followed up, tested, reported and escalated when necessary.
- Serve as the primary coordination point between the IT department, internal stakeholders, external vendors and service providers.
- Prepare and present regular status reports for IT governance meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, issues and resolutions.
Required profile
- Certified in Project Management or a related certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within the banking sector.
