Interior Architect – Office Space Assessment & Workplace Optimization

About the role
UNICEF Lebanon is seeking an experienced Interior Architect to conduct a comprehensive assessment of its office premises and develop practical design solutions that improve space utilization, staff wellbeing and collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Visit both office floors and the roof to evaluate current layout, acoustic conditions, lighting, thermal comfort and privacy.
- Engage with the Operations Section, Staff Association and section representatives to gather functional needs and wellbeing considerations.
- Identify constraints, opportunities and key comfort concerns, and produce a concise assessment report.
- Develop design options that balance functionality, cost‑effectiveness and future organisational needs, including shared wellbeing spaces such as a cafeteria, meditation room and child‑friendly area.
- Provide a recommended office layout, implementation guidance and a detailed cost estimate for phased implementation.
Required profile
- Proven experience in interior architecture, office space assessment and workplace optimisation.
- Ability to work independently, analyse stakeholder requirements and produce clear, actionable reports.
- Strong understanding of space planning, ergonomics, accessibility and cost estimation.
