Import & Export Documentation Representative

About the role

We are looking for an organized Import & Export Documentation Representative to manage all paperwork related to international shipments and support our COO in daily operations. The role ensures compliance with customs regulations while maintaining efficient logistics processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process import/export documentation in line with customs laws and procedures.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers and relevant authorities.
• Monitor shipments, verify bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and insurance documents.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with Incoterms, HS codes, duties and tariffs.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse and finance to guarantee timely release of goods.
• Handle Letters of Credit, bank documentation and other financial aspects of international trade.
• Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and trade agreements.
• Support the COO in aligning company policies with business objectives and improving operational profitability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in import/export documentation or logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, Incoterms and international shipping documentation.
• Experience with shipping/freight systems or ERP solutions.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
