Fleet Supervisor

About the role

The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable and cost‑effective operation of the company’s truck and van fleet. This role coordinates maintenance, repairs, insurance and driver documentation to support uninterrupted business activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of all company trucks and vans, guaranteeing roadworthiness.
• Coordinate inspections, repairs and technical interventions with garages, mechanics, suppliers and external service providers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date vehicle registrations, licences, inspections and related documentation.
• Manage insurance policies, renewals, claims and accident documentation, liaising with insurers and brokers.
• Track and update driving licence records for all drivers, ensuring validity and required permits.
• Allocate vehicles according to operational needs and monitor availability with Operations, Logistics and Sales teams.
• Control fleet‑related expenses, review repair quotations and identify cost‑reduction opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Technical Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Automotive/Mechanical Engineering, Transportation or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet management, transportation, logistics or automotive maintenance.

Required skills

• Strong practical knowledge of truck and van maintenance, mechanical repairs and vehicle servicing.
• Proven ability to coordinate with garages, mechanics, insurance companies, suppliers and external service providers.
