GL Accountant – Shared Services (Lebanon)

About the role

We are looking for a General Ledger (GL) Accountant to join our Shared Services team based in Lebanon, working closely with our Antwerp office. Reporting to the Group Reporting Manager, you will support the finance function for more than 20 legal entities across the MEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries in line with accounting guidelines.
• Record accruals and interest on intercompany loans.
• Perform vendor and customer balance reconciliations.
• Post and reconcile bank accounts for subsidiaries.
• Execute monthly reconciliations of balance‑sheet accounts.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, segregation of duties and delegation of authority.
• Assist with audit procedures and ad‑hoc finance projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Fluent English communication skills.
