Financial Audit Manager

About the role
We are seeking an experienced External Audit Manager to lead audit activities for financial institutions in Lebanon. The role involves overseeing audit processes, ensuring compliance, and mitigating financial risks.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain audit procedures that reflect best practices and address specific risk areas.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential financial losses due to fraud or mismanagement.
- Review financial records, statements, and related documents for regulatory compliance.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support business planning.
- Coordinate with external parties such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, lenders, investors, and regulators.
- Oversee and coordinate overall audit activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Required profile
- Strong finance‑based analytical capabilities.
- Minimum 8 years of external audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
- CPA and CIA certifications are highly desirable.
