About the role
Chedid Capital Group, a leading investment group in the (re)insurance sector, is seeking a Junior Accountant. The position involves routine accounting tasks performed under close supervision, supporting the finance team across its global network.
Key responsibilities
- Organise, file and archive accounting records for easy retrieval.
- Prepare and process accounting entries in the accounting system for reporting.
- Prepare checks, transfers and supplier confirmations for payment processing.
- Request inter‑company confirmations and perform related reconciliations.
- Execute non‑technical bank reconciliations and assist with technical bank reconciliation data.
- Prepare cash‑flow statements for all entities and coordinate with Credit Control.
- Assist in creating accounting dimensions for detailed cost allocation.
- Generate standard reports and perform any additional duties as requested.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
