Finance Project Management Officer

About the role

The Finance Strategy Execution & Transformation Unit is seeking a Finance Project Management Officer to support day‑to‑day project management, analytical, reporting and coordination activities across the university and its affiliated hospitals. The position is based primarily on the Beirut campus with occasional travel to Byblos and LAUMC sites.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the finance transformation project portfolio register, tracking status, owners, milestones and dependencies.
• Monitor project progress, flag delays, and prepare escalation items for the supervisor.
• Update project plans, Gantt charts, milestone trackers and RAID logs for each initiative.
• Produce regular status reports, steering‑committee packs and dashboard updates.
• Liaise with project owners, sponsors and contributors across LAU, LAUMC and other affiliates to gather inputs and track deliverables.
• Document lessons learned, post‑implementation reviews and closure records.
• Prepare finance narratives, charts, tables and executive presentations for senior leadership and board meetings.
• Support the development and maintenance of executive dashboards and data visualisations using AI and automation tools.
• Assist with coordination of finance committees, drafting agendas, minutes and tracking action items.
