Experienced External Auditor

About the role

KPMG is seeking an Experienced External Auditor to join its audit team serving financial services clients in the Middle East. The role involves delivering high‑quality audit engagements, reporting results to stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Audit clients' financial statements, related disclosures, and other deliverables.
• Plan engagement objectives and audit strategies in line with professional standards.
• Evaluate audit work requirements, considering all applicable regulations.
• Supervise and develop junior team members by delegating tasks and providing guidance.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to clients and senior management.
• Monitor engagement progress, adjust plans as needed, and assess risk.
• Maintain productive relationships with audit client personnel throughout the year.
• Stay current with developments in accounting and auditing standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in auditing financial services clients.
• Strong understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts.
• Ability to supervise junior staff and manage audit engagements.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and presenting findings.
