Executive Chef

About the role

The Executive Chef will lead all kitchen operations for pastry and food production at Dagher Group’s Sabtieh facility. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for delivering high‑quality baked goods and confectionery that meet the brand’s standards of taste, presentation, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and continuously refresh menus and product lines.
• Supervise daily food preparation, ensuring consistency, quality, and visual appeal.
• Manage kitchen staff scheduling, training, performance reviews, and workflow organization.
• Control costs through inventory management, portion control, and waste reduction.
• Maintain strict hygiene, food‑safety, and sanitation standards across all production areas.
• Collaborate with senior management on product innovation and process optimisation.
• Coordinate production schedules with retail outlets to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high‑volume production or retail environment.
• Strong culinary background in pastry and bakery, preferably with Lebanese or Mediterranean specialties.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and motivate diverse kitchen teams.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with a focus on detail and consistency.
• Flexibility to work peak production hours, weekends and holidays as needed.
