DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

OLX Lebanon is looking for a DevOps Engineer to ensure the stability, scalability and automation of its digital platform. You will work closely with development teams to deliver reliable, high‑performance services on AWS, using modern infrastructure‑as‑code and CI/CD practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform, following IaC best practices.
• Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins, leveraging Docker containers.
• Maintain secure, monitored and highly available services, including EKS, EC2, S3, RDS and CloudWatch.
• Develop automation tools for monitoring, scaling and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot issues across application, infrastructure and networking layers.
• Support migration from legacy systems to modern AWS‑based environments with minimal downtime.
• Participate in 24/7 on‑call rotation to ensure system uptime and incident resolution.
• Document infrastructure designs, deployment procedures and troubleshooting guides.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of professional DevOps experience in high‑availability, customer‑facing environments.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch) and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and automation tools.
