Custodial Services Coordinator (Beirut Campus)

About the role

The Hospitality Services Office is seeking a Custodial Services Coordinator to oversee daily cleaning operations on the Beirut campus. Reporting to the Custodial Services Supervisor, you will ensure that university facilities are maintained to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Assign and coordinate daily work schedules for custodial staff across all campus buildings.
• Support event logistics by setting up, breaking down, and managing cleaning for campus activities.
• Oversee laundry services for residence halls, ensuring timely delivery.
• Manage inventory, distribution, and maintenance of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Conduct regular facility inspections, report issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in training new custodial employees on procedures, safety, and equipment use.
• Monitor staff performance, maintain records, and prepare operational reports.
• Handle special cleaning projects, deep‑cleaning tasks, and emergency requests.
• Maintain control of keys, storage areas, and housekeeping assets.

Required profile

• Baccalaureate II Diploma or Technical Diploma with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or Brevet with at least 8 years.
• Strong knowledge of custodial procedures, cleaning methods, equipment, and safety standards.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaborative skills.
