Cashier Manager

About the role

The Cashier Manager will lead the cashier team at Jbeil Supermarket, ensuring smooth, accurate, and friendly checkout experiences for customers. This full‑time, on‑site position involves supervising daily cash operations, training staff, and handling customer issues directly at the point of sale.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule, assign tasks, and monitor performance of cashiers.
• Train and coach cashiers on POS usage, cash handling, and customer service standards.
• Supervise cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with store policies.
• Monitor POS systems, resolve technical issues, and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Collaborate with store management to improve service quality and streamline checkout workflows.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels during peak hours and handle customer complaints promptly.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation and ability to resolve issues quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team leadership and customer interaction.
• Organizational ability to manage schedules, workflows, and cash records.
• Previous experience in retail, supermarket operations, or cash handling supervision is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated leadership, attention to detail, and reliability.
