Assistant Manager – Bubble Tea Store

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations of our bubble tea shop. This role combines leadership, customer service and operational responsibilities to ensure a welcoming experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with staff scheduling, stock control and administration.
• Lead the team in the Store Manager’s absence, maintaining high standards and team morale.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Assist with cash handling, end‑of‑day finance and stock management.
• Motivate the team to achieve sales targets and uphold “Sunny Service” standards.
• Ensure consistent drink preparation, product quality and allergen compliance.
• Maintain store presentation, cleanliness and operational equipment.
• Support staff training and development, assigning tasks to maximise efficiency.
• Help drive sales and contribute to store budget goals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.
• Complete reasonable tasks assigned by the company.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a fast‑paced food or beverage environment.
• Natural leader with a proactive “can‑do” attitude.
• Passionate about people, service and personal development.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable, punctual and eligible to work legally in the UK.
