Assistant General Manager Restaurant

About the role

The Assistant General Manager Restaurant supports daily operations at Riviera Hospitality’s seafood bistro and wine bar in Tabarja. Working on‑site full‑time, you will help ensure smooth service, high guest satisfaction, and the overall success of the venue.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front‑of‑house teams during each shift, coordinating with the kitchen to maintain service flow.
• Manage reservations, seating plans, and opening/closing procedures.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance feedback.
• Monitor venue cleanliness, safety standards, and overall quality.
• Support inventory control, basic financial reporting, and cost‑awareness.
• Help implement promotional activities to drive growth.

Required profile

• Strong restaurant operations background with experience in shift management and workflow coordination.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent guest service and handle feedback.
• Leadership skills for supervising, coaching, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Basic financial and administrative competence, including report handling and inventory oversight.
• Interest in seafood cuisine, wine service, and cocktails with a willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays while upholding health and safety standards.
