Accountant – Financial Reporting & VAT Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at CIS Group, an ICT company based in Jal El Dib. You will work alongside experienced professionals, develop key accounting skills, and contribute to the financial health of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in line with accounting standards.
• Participate in month‑end closing, including journal entries, inventory variation and reconciliations.
• Perform inter‑company reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts receivable/payable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve differences.
• Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Handle petty cash and employee expense reports with proper documentation.
• Support VAT, NSSF, and tax declarations ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial reports for management and ensure adherence to internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with NSSF and tax declarations is a plus.
• Fluent in Arabic, English and French.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data handling).
• Experience with accounting systems or ERP platforms.
