Warehouse Controller

About the role

The Warehouse Controller oversees daily warehouse activities to guarantee accurate inventory handling and timely order processing. This position works on‑site, coordinating shipments, stock movements, and quality checks while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Receive shipments at loading docks and verify incoming goods.
• Control every order before loading, including Malt Gallery cage orders and transfers.
• Manage returned and damaged goods, reconciling all POS and receipts.
• Issue manual orders for warehouse staff and verify proper packing of large deliveries.
• Participate in inventory counts and assist with order preparation, using a small forklift when needed.
• Step in during staff shortages or high‑pressure periods to keep operations running smoothly.
• Report discrepancies to the invoicing team and any abuses to the warehouse manager.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy.

Required profile

• Fluent English.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within FMCG or distribution.
• High school diploma.
• Energetic, proactive, cautious and detail‑oriented.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (small forklift).
