Technical Service Engineer – Renewable Energy (Lebanon)

About the role

The Technical Service Engineer will support residential and commercial‑and‑industrial (C&I) photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage system (ESS) projects across Lebanon. You will act as the primary technical liaison for service partners and key customers, ensuring successful commissioning, after‑sales support, and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver product training to service partners on residential and C&I PV and ESS solutions.
• Provide after‑sales technical support via telephone and email, handling escalations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Develop and coordinate initial commissioning plans and oversee field commissioning activities.
• Support the line manager in overseeing support operations, including low‑voltage and high‑voltage system inquiries.
• Conduct field services for pre‑commissioning, commissioning, maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs.
• Perform basic operation & maintenance (O&M) tasks, remote system monitoring, and warranty work.
• Execute product testing, fault diagnosis and repairs in the workshop.
• Track complex technical issues and collaborate with internal technical and R&D teams to deliver solutions.
• Continuously update knowledge of products, services and industry best practices.
• Communicate with management, sales teams and customers to support business development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a service support or technical support role for PV/ESS systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency preferred.
• Professional telephone support and customer service experience.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, organizational and time‑management abilities.
