Team Leader, ReSET Programme

About the role

The position is responsible for overseeing all human resources and finance functions of Médecins du Monde’s mission in Lebanon. It combines strategic HR leadership with comprehensive financial management to ensure compliance with local legislation, donor requirements, and organisational policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the implementation of the mission’s human resources set‑up.
• Define, adapt, plan, and supervise HR frameworks, procedures and policies while respecting local context and MdM values.
• Plan, centralise, coordinate and supervise financial management and administration, including accounting, budgeting, reporting, donor compliance, audits and legal obligations.
• Recruit, train and manage the administrative department team.
• Provide technical support to operational staff on HR and financial matters.

Required profile

• Experience managing both HR and finance functions in an NGO or humanitarian context.
• Strong knowledge of Lebanese labour legislation and donor compliance standards.
• Proven ability to lead and develop an administrative team.
• Capacity to work under pressure in a rapidly changing humanitarian environment.
