Tax Auditor – Full‑time, On‑site in Beirut

About the role

EK Finance is seeking a full‑time Tax Auditor to join its Beirut office. The role involves reviewing financial records and tax returns to ensure compliance with Lebanese tax legislation, while supporting clients and internal teams with accurate tax advice.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document tax audits for corporate clients.
• Analyse financial statements, tax returns and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify tax risks, discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with clear findings and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather information, clarify tax positions and resolve issues.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and support implementation of compliant tax practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tax and accounting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of experience conducting tax audits in an audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of tax law, tax compliance and ability to interpret regulations.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CTA or equivalent are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in Beirut, manage multiple audits and meet strict deadlines.

• Advanced use of spreadsheet tools.
