Talent Acquisition Manager

About the role

La Sagesse University is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead its recruitment and selection activities. Reporting to the HR Director, the manager will shape the university’s talent acquisition strategy, ensure a high-quality candidate experience, and support the hiring of academic and administrative staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a talent acquisition strategy aligned with university workforce needs and strategic objectives.
• Design recruitment plans to attract top academic, administrative and leadership talent, building pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for faculty and non-academic positions, partnering with Deans, Office and Center Directors.
• Create job descriptions, sourcing strategies and oversee candidate screening, interviews, assessments, selection and offers.
• Maintain compliance with university regulations, HR policies and ensure a fair, competency-based hiring approach.
• Lead employer-branding initiatives, manage recruitment channels such as LinkedIn and university networks, and promote the university’s culture and EVP.
• Ensure an excellent candidate experience, coordinate onboarding with HR Operations, and gather feedback to improve the employee journey.
• Develop recruitment dashboards, track metrics such as time-to-hire and time-to-fill, and report insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading talent acquisition for academic and administrative roles.
• Strong ability to partner with senior academic leaders and department heads.
• Knowledge of university recruitment regulations and HR policies.
• Experience designing recruitment campaigns and managing employer-branding activities.
• Analytical mindset with experience creating recruitment metrics and dashboards.
