Supply Chain Planner

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planner to support our Contract Manufacturer and ensure uninterrupted production flow for high‑speed test instrumentation. You will act as the central point for material availability, capacity planning, and supplier coordination, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Address material shortages, backlogs, and schedule interruptions that could affect the Contract Manufacturer’s production schedule.
• Escalate issues and coordinate cross‑functional, global teams to achieve rapid resolution of supply problems.
• Collaborate with the Contract Manufacturer to analyze constraints, verify capacity, and secure materials for the build plan.
• Proactively identify gaps in production, supply, and capacity to mitigate risk and meet customer delivery dates.
• Analyze purchase‑price variance (PPV) and excess purchase order requests.
• Monitor and achieve KPIs such as excess inventory, on‑time delivery, and inventory management.
• Drive continuous improvement in supply planning, capacity utilization, material cost, and lead‑time reduction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, supporting development and performance initiatives.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of progressive experience in supply chain, material planning, or electronics manufacturing.
• College degree in supply chain management, business management or a related field (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, MS Navision and Oracle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
