Store Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Store Manager to lead a retail outlet for a growing group in Gabon. The role combines people leadership, sales optimisation, inventory control and customer experience to ensure the store meets its performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, train, coach and develop store staff, conducting regular performance reviews.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales against targets, analyse KPIs and financial reports, and implement action plans to boost profitability.
• Oversee inventory levels, coordinate replenishment, place purchase orders and conduct regular stock counts to minimise loss.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, handling inquiries, complaints and escalations promptly.
• Manage day‑to‑day store operations, including opening/closing procedures, security, maintenance and compliance with company policies.
• Execute marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns and visual merchandising standards to enhance the shopping experience.

Required profile

• Fluency in French is mandatory.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience interpreting sales data, KPIs and financial reports.
• Proven experience in retail store management.
• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Retail Management or a related field is an advantage.
