Staff Accountant – SAP B1

About the role

Americorp International is seeking a remote Staff Accountant with expertise in SAP Business One to join its global finance team. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day accounting operations, financial reporting, and supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Post journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and reconcile accounts in SAP B1.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, verify transaction accuracy, and enforce internal controls.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams worldwide and assist with internal and external audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements and system optimizations within SAP B1.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in general accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Business One or a comparable ERP system.
• Knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and audit procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office productivity tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, chemicals or plastics industries and in a multi‑entity environment is a plus.
