SQL Developer – Design & Optimize Database Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust database solutions that power our business applications and reporting needs. You will collaborate closely with analysts, developers, and DBAs to ensure data is accessible, accurate, and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Analyze query performance, monitor deadlocks, and implement tuning strategies.
• Work with application teams to embed SQL solutions into software products.
• Design and maintain database schemas, tables, views, and indexes.
• Support ETL processes and data integration across systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with security standards.
• Troubleshoot database issues and document best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in SQL development and database programming.
• Proven ability to work on‑site in Jal El Dib and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SQL and relational DBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle or similar).
• Experience with performance tuning, indexing strategies and query optimization.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data‑integration tools.
• Strong data modeling and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven SQL performance tools (highly valued).
