Software Developer - DevOps

About the role

Chedid Capital Group is seeking a Software Developer with a strong DevOps focus to design, build, and maintain core applications, websites, and mobile solutions across its global insurance network. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, senior architects, and junior developers to deliver high‑quality software and drive innovation through AI, big‑data analytics, and IoT integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer software designs that meet functional and security standards.
• Develop and deploy a centralized backend serving multiple front‑end mobile and web applications via an API gateway.
• Implement Single Sign‑On (SSO) and multi‑provider authentication mechanisms.
• Integrate external policy issuers, health‑reading devices, telematics systems, and payment gateways.
• Introduce AI and big‑data analytics to enhance policy generation and assessment.
• Supervise IT projects, ensure timely delivery, and provide progress reports.
• Maintain Agile project management records and conduct gap analysis for new business requirements.
• Design and enforce security architecture, coordinate with external SOCs and penetration testers, and document applications for continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in application development.
• Proven ability to coach junior team members and lead technical initiatives.

Required skills

• Front‑end: HTML, CSS, SCSS, jQuery, JavaScript, Angular.
• Back‑end.NET (C#) or equivalent server‑side language.
• API design and management, including API gateway configuration.
• SSO and OAuth authentication integration.
• Payment gateway integration.
• IoT device integration (health reading, telematics).
• AI/ML concepts for policy analytics.
• Big‑data analytics fundamentals.
• Agile project management tools.
• Security architecture, SOC coordination, and penetration‑testing processes.
