Software Developer – DevOps

About the role

Chedid Capital, a leading financial holding company in the insurance and reinsurance sector, is seeking a Software Developer with a DevOps focus. You will design, develop, and maintain core applications, websites, and mobile solutions that support the Group’s operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer software designs that meet functional and security standards.
• Develop and deploy a centralized backend serving multiple front‑end mobile and web applications via an API gateway.
• Implement SSO and multi‑provider authentication mechanisms.
• Integrate applications with policy issuers, health‑reading devices, telematics systems, payment gateways, and other front‑office tools.
• Introduce AI and big‑data analytics to enhance policy generation and assessment.
• Supervise IT projects, ensure timely delivery, and provide progress reports.
• Participate in Agile project management, gap analysis, and documentation.
• Design security architecture, coordinate with external SOC and penetration testers, and enforce disaster‑recovery policies.
• Mentor junior developers and lead training sessions on new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in application development.
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative, Agile environment.

Required skills

• Front‑end: HTML, CSS, SCSS, jQuery, JavaScript, Angular.
• Back‑end.NET, MSSQL.
• API gateway configuration and management.
• Single Sign‑On (SSO) and multi‑provider authentication.
• Integration with health‑reading devices, telematics, and payment gateways.
• AI/ML concepts for analytics and policy insights.
• Security architecture, SOC coordination, and penetration‑testing processes.
