Social Media Manager

About the role

ECG Brands, a construction franchise company with over 35 franchises across Canada, is hiring a Social Media Manager to run the corporate social media accounts for its two brands, Rydel and Deckify, as well as for ECG itself. The role works closely with the VP Marketing and the Content & Community Lead to build strategy that raises brand awareness, drives engagement, supports customer service and generates leads. It focuses on the four main corporate platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Reddit); franchise Meta accounts will be managed by each franchise starting in 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and publish content on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube via Zoho Social, keeping profiles consistent with the brand
• Create or manage platform automations and stay up to date on platform updates and algorithm changes
• Write conversion-focused copy and create video iterations and static visuals with Canva
• Maintain the content calendar in Notion and track scheduling status across brands and franchises
• Monitor and moderate comments and DMs, escalate issues to the Content & Community Lead, and update CRM contacts as needed
• Create account-management guides and give technical support to franchise teams, reviewing their accounts against brand guidelines

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience managing social media accounts professionally
• High English (C1/C2) and basic French reading and writing
• Detail oriented, process-driven, collaborative with a remote team, self-sufficient and able to handle negative feedback calmly
• Nice to have: experience in home improvement or construction

Required skills

• Foundational knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Reddit and YouTube
• Canva and basic design sense
• Nice to have: Meta Business Portfolios, Notion, Zoho CRM and Zoho Social
