Site Engineer

About the role

Hayek Engineering & Contracting is seeking a qualified and motivated Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on‑site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site operations, monitoring progress, workmanship and compliance with approved drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, civil and structural engineers, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identify technical challenges and implement solutions.
• Support quality assurance and safety procedures, monitor project schedules and material requirements.
• Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates, measurements and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of proven experience in construction site supervision and project execution.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials and structural systems.
• Ability to read, interpret and coordinate architectural, structural and technical drawings.
• Excellent organizational, communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with project management software (advantage).
